Have one users laptop that over weekend gives a BSOD when logging in. W2k
will boot normal. Enter username/pwd as normal, windows starts then
immediately BSOD. Get Stop D1
Driver_IRQL_not_less_or_Equal sysaudio.sys
Cannot find this error with the exact parameters in KB. Have reinstalled
the audio drivers, Ran recovery console with no change. I can boot in safe
mode and log in. Even with networking in safe mode cannot connect to any
external resources. Any ideas what I can try next? Thanks

Rename sysaudio.sys to sysaudio.bad. If the BSOD disappears
then you are likely to have a problem with the sound driver. Get
an updated driver or use a different sound adapter.
