I am running XP and use either Opera 7.0 or IE 6.0. Any
ideas as to why Opera acts like a rocket and IE acts like
a sled with no runners? There seems to be a large
difference in speed. I'm asking since a few sites do not
like Opera. Thanks.

Try Netscape 7.1. You'll like it.
