Hello all,

I have just got a new AMILO Pro V8010 notebook integrated with Broadcom
802.11g Network Adapter. I have a wireless network in my home. The
problem is that I cannot see any wireless networks with my new
notebook. Did anyone have the same problem or does ne 1 have an idea
what may be the possible source of the problem?
I have scrutinized the whole notebook to find an antenna but I think
the antenna is built-into the the card and think its working fine too:
at least windows is saying that the card hsa been installed and is
working properly....

Any ideas or pointers would be great.

We have a gateway notebook with this card. It worked fine for a while then quit. I don't have an answer yet. I have run all diagnostics and gotten new drivers.

Which card?
Which notebook?
Which OS?
What does "quit" mean (specific symptoms)?
What wifi network(s) have you tried it with? How do you know they work?
What did you do just before the card "quit"?
What diagnostics and results?
What new drivers? And how installed?

And, of course, computer hardware does break from time to time.
