PC Config - Win XP SP2, P4 3.2Ghz, 1 GB RAM

I am currently on 1 Mbps ADSL broadband, connecting through a Belkin
modem/router and I recently noticed my connection was slower than usual. I
ran a few tests on the Internet and it shows that I am getting nowhere near
the speed I am supposed to, most of the tests show I am getting around 100
Kbps. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get my speed back to normal
again?

Call your ISP. It may have nothing to do with your computer.

100 "Kbps" of KBps"? There's a big difference. b = bits, B =
bytes (8 bits). 100 KBps is pretty close to your 1Mbps (over
800kbps).

Did you previously get higher numbers? What were they?
Where, on what sites, are you doing the measurements? For any
kind of repeatabiltiy, pick one that is nearest to you.
How far are you from the phone company? It matters.
Try checking the speeds with your own ISP is you can.
