BroadBand setup for Win2000

I am using broadband at home with my home PC on WinXP.
How do I set this up in Win2000 on my notebook? Unlike XP,
win2000 does not have a CONNECT TO BROADBAND option in the
dialup and network setup wizard.

Please advise. thank you.

you need to find out a little mor eanout your broadband. most of them are
just network conections that asighn an ip adress along with its gatway and
dns numbers. find out what you broad band uses and then configure
acordingly.

usually you will conect with a rj45 ethernet conector, if this is the case
then you can try using an automaticaly asigned ip adress (dhcp) and
restarting the broadband device.

you will need a router or internet conection sharing with probally a hub or
crosover cable to have both computers conect at once.
