I run Windows XP Home, installed on machine that came with
ME.

The Briefcase feature will only function correctly for 1-2
weeks, then becomes unreliable updating both to HD files
and the Briefcase files on USB storage "stick".

Any suggestions?
 
I would just delete it, then right click the desktop and
create a new one.
