Booting problem

When I try to boot from a bootalbe floppy disk to reinstall windows XP I get
this error. Disk I/0 error replace the disk and press any key. I wrote
before in this newgroup that I can not delete the current partition, the
setup will not let me do it
 
The XP cd is bootable and contains the necessary tools to delete the current
partition and reinstall windows XP. Jym
