booting from Floppy problem

When I try to boot from a bootalbe floppy disk to reinstall windows XP I get
this error. Disk I/0 error replace the disk and press any key. I wrote
before in this newgroup that I can not delete the current partition, the
setup will not let me do it.

Your drive may be dirty and need a cleaning.

Boot from your Windows XP CD. This has all the tools you need to
re-format your HDD and re-install Windows.
