Boot .ini files

I have 4-XP OS's on my computer. I see the boot files are in C:\ drive.
If I do a clean install on C:\ drive, will I loose my boot files for the
other OS's? If I will, can I copy the old boot file into the "boot.ini
notepad file to restore boot for the other 3 OS's ?
