\windows\system32\spool\printers\fp00001.shd is crosslinked on allocation
unit 426826

then it just sits there and it has been on for over an hour?? what can I do??

Hi,

Boot the WinXP CD, load the Recovery Console by hitting "r" at the first
prompt. Run "chkdsk C: /r" from the prompt.
