My Ghost boot CD worked fine until I got a new Samsung Sata DVD drive. Now
when I use my Ghost boot CD it can't find the Samsung drive. Could someone
help me on this problem.

The Ghost boot CD doesn't have drivers for the SATA controller your
setup uses. You didn't mention a Ghost version #, but I seem to remember
you can add specific drivers to it with the Boot media creator in the GUI
(Windows) portion of Ghost.

Thanks for the help, I went to Samsung and the only dirver they have for
real mode is Sscdrom.sys I tried putting this on the disk but still couldn't
find driver. Should I have copied this file somewhere in Windows XP. I'm
using Ghost 2002.

The drivers for the controller will come from your motherboard, not your
hard drive mftr. The file you downloaded is for a CD-ROM drive.

So I should be looking for Asus P5B Deluxe motherboard driver for my DVD
drive. Is this what you are telling me.

You are looking for a SATA driver. Doesn't matter what is connected to the
SATA port, the software just needs to know the port exists on you MOBO,
which is where the driver comes into play...
