Are there any controls in Windows XP for boosting playback volume?
There was something along that line in Windows 98, but I can't find a
comparable control in Windows XP. Hopefully I'm just missing it. I
use a court reporting software that has .wav files associated with a
given transcript, and those .wav files do not play back very loud on my
XP computer, whereas if I play the same .wav file on my old Windows 98
computer, it's much louder. And it's not just my XP computer. The
court reporters that I work with don't get good volume on their XP
computers either.
Any advice? Thanks.
