Blue screen

Why my monitor screen turns blue and my computer reboots whenever I load a cd rom or most of the time whenever I have a few programs running specially windows media player?

I have 512 meg of ram and according to my Cashman program I do not have any crazy program draining my memory.

Any ideas guys?

Sam,

This problem is not related to Internet Explorer. You may try this in appropriate Newsgroups (for the respective OS). Before that, try this workaround:

Open Windows Explorer and open the Folder Options. Make it to Show all files. Locate the file "scsi1hlp.vxd" in the system. (in the C:\ - system drive) and rename it. Reboot and see if the problem is solved.

Spontaneous reboot, can be caused by Hardware problems.
Mostly heat related. Clean the fan in the back of your computer and make
sure the small fan on your motherboard for your CPU is OK.
