Blue Screen

Hi please help
The pc was working fine... My wife threw her shoes into the cubboard and
knocked the plug. The pc went off. Now all I get is the blue screen saying
windows has recovered from a faital error ..bla bla bla code 0x81268c00,
0xc0000032, 0x00000000, 0x00000000

If i fire it up using F8 it tries to do it but then goes back to the blue
screen (same code)
Does anyone know what this means and how to fix it.

Could you please post the Stop Code that is infront on the brackets?

Hi Will.
The stop code infront of the brackets is
*** stop: 0x000000ED

that is all code numbers on page. I've just noticed that it also says
unmountable_boot_volume if that helps.

Great thank you.... I've got a damaged file system.( so the codes say) Made
xp home boot discs from your links and then I need to repair xp home...if all
goes well it should work.
