blue screen

Don't know if I have a virus or if hard drive going bad. Can't run any virus scans, computer blue screens and locks up in the process. Tried to run Norton, Trendmicro, Macafee also tried Stinger, all lock up or blue screen. Any ideas of what my problem is? Thanks le
 
This is an option, copy down the fatal expection error numbers and go to google.com and put those letters and numbers just as you see them on the blue screen of death. I have found that google can link you to either the answer or ppl who were having the same problem.
