Blue screen when starts windows xp

When I start my win XP it gives a blue screen, that
disapears very fast and reboots the system. I have a AMD
2000 Mhz processor with 512 RAM.

What can I do? What is the possible reason for this? It's
necessary to reinstall the OS?
 
Can you boot into safe mode? If so, check the system event logs and see
what the Save Dump points to for the STOP codes
