I have a w2000 laptop that I use as standalone, and connected via lan to the
corporate net. Since several time I have the following PB when using it
connected in my office, depending if a use the dockstation or connect it
directly by wires. If I connect it through the docking station I get a blue
screen with error messages, if I cconnect it by wire to the net the log is
ok. If then I plug (with system running) it to the docking station it
continues to run well. I have the same pb when I'am going to close the
system: dockek : no shuting but blue screen with error messages, when
directed wired or first unplugged from the dockung station and switching the
lan connection wire: no pb for shutting down.
Can somebody give me hints? I would appreciate
Fernand

Hello Fernand,
It sounds like your hardware profiles are corrupted and specifically the
NIC drivers. I would re-create your docked hardware profile following the
manufactures directions. Docking station setup can be very difficult.

Good luck.
