Hello,
When I try to restore an Image (that I made with Ghost) of the C-drive with
the Symantec Recovery Disk of Ghost 9.0, I recieve a blue screen with this
message:
A Problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage
to your computer.
If this is the firs time you've seen this Stop error screen, restart your
computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:
Check for viruses on your computer. Run CHKDSK /F etc..

Technical information:*** Stop: 0x0000007B (0xF78E2640, 0xC0000034,
0x00000000, 0x00000000)
Can somebody help me ? Thanks very much !

Are you restoring it to a new computer?
Restoring it to a new *type* of hard disk drive or with a different hard
disk controller?

You need to perform a Repair installation (Google for repair installation of
Windows XP).

Hello Shenan,
I only try to restore to the same PC : a Dell 9200 that I bought in december
2006. The image was made in januari 2007,after a clean install of XP Prof
SP2, together with some software as Office 2003, Nero 6, Adobe Photoshop
Elements 3,Norton Ghost 9.0,Norton AntiVirus, etc. The PC has 2 HD (2 x WD ,
250 G each, No Raid config.). The first HD has 2 partions ( C-drive = 50 G,
F-drive = 183 G). The image I made is from de C-drive, who contains only XP,
and all other installed programs. Data are all on the F-partition, and also
on my 2nd HD (with 3 partitons),who contains also the Image of the C-drive...
My PC works well, but after about 9 months I wish to restore my Image to
start again with a "clean" PC. But when I boot from the Ghost CD, appears
about 20 seconds after the screens with "Symantec Recovery Disk.." and
"Please wait...", the bleu "STOP-screen" as decribed in my first message.
So, it seems that Symantec Recovery Disk cannot reach the image and I don't
understand why...The hardware on my PC is still the same . I have no problems
with making and reinstalling Ghost-images on my Asus-laptop (with XP Prof
SP1..).Running CHDSK or Norton AntiVirus gives nothing...And Dell replys: "we
can't give support for a software problem.."
Thanks for your helping suggestions !

Willy
