Blue Screen of Death upon doing Recovery

My pc is a Gateway 504GR. I recently got a virus and some spyware/malware. My
desktop was taken over, my internet browser was hijacked, and my registry was
messed up. I used Panda Internet Security and Ad-Aware to get rid of that
stuff. They seemed to work in protecting my pc. So, fearing that my pc might
still be vulnerable, I saved everything I wanted from my harddrive to an
external harddrive. Then I proceeded to do a recovery of my system. I made
backup cd's when I first bought my pc 3 years ago. So I tried using those
cd's and they didn't work. My pc was booting up and it got to a Gateway
screen. Right after that the BSOD appears with this message:

A problem has been detected and windows had been shut down to prevent damage
to your computer.

If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error screen, restart your
computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Check for viruses on your computer. Remove any newly installed hard drives
or hard drive controllers. Check your hard drive to make sure it is properly
configured and terminated. Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption,
and then restart your computer.

Technical information:

*** STOP: 0x0000007B (0xF7B5E640, 0XC0000034, 0X00000000, 0X00000000)

That is the message I get everytime I turn on my pc. It goes into recovery
mode and always goes to the BSOD with the above message. I can't get passed
that screen and I can't even get into Safe Mode by pressing F8. I don't have
money to buy any new hardware or to pay anyone to fix my pc. I don't want to
uninstall any hardware from my pc because I'm not that knowledgable and I
fear that I might cause more damage. Please someone help me. Is there anyone
out there willing to help me get passed this? Is there a way to get passed
the recovery mode so I can get to my desktop? Any help is appreciated.
