Hi Our server 2000 is starting to go down every couple of hours with DSOD
and

Stop 0x000001e (0xC000005, BEA43280,0x0000001,0x0000002)
KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
Address BEA43280 base BEA3c000,datestamp 3eaf0356
tcpip.sys

I have check for virus and order a new NIC card,its all up to date with
service packs,we do get a lot of spam thru exchange,I did a bit of searching
on this error and noticed it used to be the ping of death,on NT4,but we run
2000
Any help would be great

I had a 2k server do that and it was a memory slot going down. Run a memory
checker to make sure, the nick is possible but I dont think probable, The
way I narrowed it down was to remove the last ram chip in line(03 in my
case). This cured it. I am not saying that yours is the same issue but it
may be worth checking the memory
