Blue Screen - Help

I am trying to boot up my server but keep getting the blue screen of death
error during boot up?

I installed a new scsi tape backup and had to reboot the server and i guess
it didn't like the device.

I've removed the drive since and tried to get into safe mode to remove the
drivers but now i can't even get into safe mode to correct the problem...i
keep getting the blue screen?

Any advice????

Thanks

It might well help us help you if you gave us the error message on the blue
screen.

The exact error we're getting is:

INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE

Check for viruses on your computer. Remove any newly installed hard drives
or hard drive controllers. Check your hard drive to make sure it is
properly configured and terminated. Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive
corruption, and then restart your computer.

Now the only thing that was installed was a SCSI tape drive which has since
been removed. How can i use CHKDSK without the system booting up, in
regular or safe mode?

Thanks for the help.

Have you removed the SCSI controller as well, or are the drives in the
computer SCSI drives?
