blue screen error

hi, i have brought a 9GHz quad core PC with vista 64bit. i get blue screen
errors regulary, i did some research and found it can be caused by faulty
memory so i took one stick out and sent it back which seemed to solve the
problem. when memory stick came back the motherboard slot for that stick
wouldnt work with a memory stick inserted so i had the motherboard replaced.
when i put memory stick in the computer worked fine for a while but im
getting blue screen errors recently, in the last hour ive had 3. it cant be
the memory again i hope. anybody have any solutions or ways to find out whats
causing them. any help would be greatly appreciated

That makes no sense. What you need to do is test the memory sticks one at a
time .
Why you would pull one at random and send it back is illogical.

hi, sorry i should have put that in. i did check the memory sticks. i tried
them in the memory slots, i tried them in every possible combination making
absolutly sure that the stick i sent back was the one that wasnt working.

I had the same problems. Updating to the latest graphics driver from
Nvidia ended the problem.

Ok that makes sense...
not it seems you will need to re-run the memory test one stick at a time...
another one must have failed I'd imagine
