Blue Screen after entering Logon Info in Windows 2000 Pro

I get a blank blue screen after entering logon
information. CNTRL/ALT/DEL bring task manager. I am not
able to run any applications from there either.

Please help.
 
Can you Ctl+Alt+Del and start explorer.exe? Does the shell load in safe
mode?
