Using Sony Vaio with Vist Home Premium.
Blue screen reads:
Technical Information:
*** STOP: 0x00000050 (0xC08405D0, 0x00000000, 0x81E57DC4, 0x00000000)
Have followed advice on this newsgroup (thank you much) and am trying to
uninstall an addon (loaded 15 Sept), it seems to be taking longer than i
expect, it's going on five minutes now.
Any helpful advice would be appreciated.

Suggestions:
If you can boot into safe mode (press f8 while booting) you may be able to
get things back to wherever they were by using system restore. Alas system
restore is not always reliable but when it works . . .
You may be able to delete whatever you installed via control panel.
A messed up video driver can cause the bsod more often than other causes. In
control panel delete the current driver and reboot. If that solves the
problem then you can boot into Vista with a VGA driver. Download the latest
video driver and reinstall.
