Blue logon screen missing

I have Windows XP SP2 with latest service packs.

There's no blue logon screen. PC hosts 4-5 users and those users have
complicated login names and no passwords. There're not able to memorize them.
So, it'll be much easier for them to use logon screen and just click on their
user.

`control userpasswords` and `control userpasswords2` get same window.

Where can I set the blue logon screen?

That KB entry is about one-user Windows XP system. I have got system with 5
users (including Admin).

Just consider this please: `control userpasswords` and `control
userpasswords2` get same window.

So, there's no window, where I can enable logon screen or fast user switching.

Are you referring to the Welcome Screen? Have you gone into the User
Accounts applet in Control Panel and checked "enable the Welcome
Screen"? If not, then do so. If you've tried this and get an error
message, please quote the text of the error message in your next post.

I mentioned, the commands `control userpasswords` and `control
userpasswords2` and Accounts applet produce same window.

Using Windows XP Home!

What changed between the time things worked and the time they didn't?
This isn't normal behavior for XP Home. Are you running any kind of
third-party security software to manage users and permissions in a more
fine-grained fashion than is natively available with XP Home? What did
you change from the default when you set up the user accounts?

And just in case - what is the virus/malware-status of the computer? If
you think it is clean, what did you use to determine this? Please
include the names and versions of the programs and whether your
antivirus subscription is active.
