Blue lines in forwards

What is up with the blue lines on the left side of emails that are forwarded?
I try to clean them up but can't without losing the email content. Is there
any way to get them off there? Thanks!
 
Go to Tools, Options, Send, Mail Sending Format, HTML Settings,
uncheck "Indent message on reply".
