Blaster Worm

Hi there,

I have the Blaster worm on my computer and I want it out
so I used the Symantec thingie to get it out of there and
it did... Now I want to install the patch from windows but
when I try to install il it says : "KB823980 Setup Error


Setup could not verify the integrity of the file
Update.inf. Make sure the Cryptographic service is running
on this computer"

I used the service.msc command in the run option and
checked the Cryptographic service and it's running so I
don't know what's the problem !

Are YOU getting the following error when you try to install Windows XP
Service Pack 1?
"Service Pack 1 Setup Error:
Setup could not verify the integrity of the file Update.inf. Make sure the
Cryptographic service is running on this computer"
Or
YOU are trying to install the Windows XP security patch 823980 - in
response to the msblast.exe worm and you are getting a similar error
message.
