Blaster patch install as a user

Hi. Can anyone advise how we can install the blaster
patch on all our workstations WITHOUT walking around to
each one and doing a RUNAS or WITHOUT making all our
users Admins.?

It's been a while since I personally used SUS, but I
don't recall that being the case, although you may well
be right.

Another option is to write a logon script that checks for
the existence of the patch you're trying to deploy, and
does it's own 'runas'-type logon to run the patch
unattended as a domain administrator. The downside here
is that it does require writing some code, either in a
scripting language or a tiny application that runs on
login...but it's doable.
