Blank Monitor--Please Help!!!

I know that XP is loading because I hear the intro music from my speakers
although my screen is blank (but on, not in standby). The monitor works up
to the Microsoft XP screen and then when it is to boot to the desktop the
screen goes blank but the PC continues to boot (as stated above).

I have tried to boot in safe mode, safe mode with command prompt and safe
mode with network but it hangs at the agp440.sys driver.

I have tried to boot in VGA mode but the same thing happens.

I have tried to load from original CD to repair it, but I get the blank
screen as described above.

I have done everything but put a .22 round through it.

Please help.

I have tried the onboard card and the PCI card. I have tried three different
monitors.

Have you got the BIOS set to what type of graphics card you are using? PCI
or onboard chip, it does sound like video card, have you got an AGP slot on
your mobo?
