Black Screen

During boot up (when the windows logo appears), the monitor screen goes
black. The boot up process continues successfully. If I power off the
monitor and then power it back on the screen displays only for about 10
seconds and then goes black again. I've tried a host of things but nothing
seems to resolve the problem.

Maybe a problem with the monitor. Does this happen in the Safe Mode as
well?

I am having the same problem. It boots up to the windows logo and the goes
black and says "no input found". I does finsh booting beacuse I can hear the
windows boot music. If I boot in either safe or vga mode it will boot, but
when I try to change the video setting to a higher setting than 640x480 it
goes black. What could be causing this??
