BLACK on BLACK

I'm trying to help a friend who changed their screen and text to black to
everything is black on black.

I tried starting in SAFE MODE to change the settings back, but it showed
black on black.

Is there something I can erase in his profile to reset the settings?

Computer is OK, because I tried the other profiles in the family.

He is running Windows XP Home Edition (Service Pack 1).

THANKS !

You'll have to fly in the dark...

Follow these mouse/keystrokes exactly and you *should* be able to restore
black on white.

Right click on desktop (bottom right - but not as far down as the task
bar) - press down arrow key six times - hit return (enter) - then press
right arrow key 3 times- press right tab key - press W - finally press
return (enter)

That *should* reset Classic Windows Appearance.

You might need to refine/experiment with the actual keystokes required under
another profile depending on your set up. But these instructions should get
you 95% of the way - I hope..

Good Luck...

Obviously you need to let it boot up into that account first - give it five
minutes to load everything... before you start

This did work, although once you right click hit the down arrow 7 times, and
I got the classic view with 2 right arrows. Mac said you would have to try
different combinations.

Good Luck
