I'm trying to connect my scanner and it keeps saying that
it is unable to find the scanner. When I troubleshoot,
it says to check system BIOS. How do I do that?

It depends on computer model how you get into the BIOS. When your computer
is first restarted there is often a message along the lines of press a key
for setup. Restart your computer and watch closely for a similar message.
F2 and Delete are common.
