Big Problem! HEELLLP!

Hi there.. I have an IBM laptop.. Running 2000. I went to
start it and well, the screen is black.. and it beeps..
never starts up.. What should I do? PLLEEEEAAASSSEEEE!!!

This sounds like a hardware problem, not a Win2000
problem. As a first diagnostic step, press the key that
gets you into the BIOS setup program, then check if
your hard disk is still around.

When reposting in a hardware group, try to think of
a meaningful Subject line, e.g. "Black screen on reboot".
