Outlook 2000: Beware of SP-1 thru 3 (apparently no fix for 2005 web page
calendar dates/days dont match, and uncontrollable security blocking email
attachments and sending whether you want it or not)!
1. Tried to save calendar as web page and 2005 dates do not match days.
2. Posted question to many forums...

3. Last credible suggestion was to try OL2000 upgrades.
4. Downloaded/installed upgrades SP-1 thru 3 etc from MS OL upgrades page.
5. Upgrades didnt fix 2005 problem and added security 'fix' problem of
blocking email attachments and email sending of same.
6. Sample MS newsgroup discussion...

6. Have decided to un-install OL2000 (SP-3) and re-install original without
upgrades and hope there will be a fix or work-around for the 2005 calendar
question b4 2005... but am not holding breath.

Guess my normal policy of waiting a few years b4 loading MS upgrades needs a
few more years.

The web interface can copy url to clipboard (copy icon) so we don't need to
guess which thread you mean - I presume it's this one?

since the missing holiday issue is very well documented.

For information about increased security, see
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/esecup/getexe.htm and
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/esecup.htm. There are several ways to deal
with it... my fav is Chilton preview for people who can be trusted not to
open every attachment they receive.
