Beta AntiSpyWare

I recently downloaded this, but each time i run it, it
gets about 5 minutes in to what it says should be a 2
minute scan (the intelliscan) before it stops sifting
through the folders. The animation is still going, but
the count has stopped, and as soon as i try to click
anything it freezes on me. I can't even close it with
the Windows Task Manager, the only solution is to
reboot. I run XP home, if that makes any difference. If
anyone is able to help, it would be much appreciated!

When the program is running you need to leave it alone
until it finishes. Make sure your screen saver isn't
active and no other programs running. I did samething so I
left it alone and it finished what it was doing, Yes it
can be a pain but worth the effort to have and to protect
your computer. Worth the wait!!! right!

Good-Luck

You might try scanning in safe mode.

(and Chris--before you get your hopes up--others for whom the scan fails in
the registry have taken this advice before and had it fail exactly the same
way--so I'm not making this suggestion to you--although it sure won't hurt
to try it!)
