PC crashes when the Antispyware runs its scan

I loaded the MS Antispyware Beta last evening on my pc
running XP. It loaded fine. However, about 5 minutes
into the scan, the computer completely crashed. The
program didn't have any record that it had performed any
scanning when the program was relaunched. The computer
crashed 3 times before I stopped trying. Any ideas?

make sure no other programs are running and screen saver
is not active!!! also make sure you have the requirements
to run the promrams..

Minimum system requirements for Windows AntiSpyware (Beta):

.. Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher

.. A 300 MHz or faster processor with at least 64 MB of RAM

.. Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP, or Windows ServerT
2003

.. At least 10 MB of available free space on your hard disk

.. Internet access with at least a 28.8 Kbps connection to
use SpyNetT
