Beta 2 and Nvidia not getting along

AMD 64 - 3200+
2 GB RAM
XFX GF 6600 256MB DDR Dual DVI video card (Nvidia GeFrorce 6600)

File copying and expansion proceed normally.
Upon first full boot-up, a BSD appears (with reference to an NV*** DLL) and
the system continues to boot in the blue screen loop.
If Vista is started in safe mode and the video card is Uninstalled, Vista
will boot in full mode and proceed to re-install the card and its driver.
Various versions of Nvidia drivers have been installed, but to no avail.

Hi,
I am unsure if the 64 bit AMD is adding complexity but i have the same card
running dual monitors and its GREAT. i am x86 so that is a difference. my
motherboard is an Asus with intel chipset and on attempt to do an Upgrade
install i too had a BSOD but it was a very complex interaction with a
boatload of xp drivers. I did a ghost before so i could return to origin. i
just prepared and did a clean install and no more problems. NOTE: i did go to
intel and get the latest chipset drivers and even though the installer
wouldnt install them i went thru my device list and did update driver
pointing to the driver folder from the unziped drivers install. the Microsoft
provided default driver worked good for me but had freezes at odd times. i
installed the NVidia driver and it was great.
