Hi everybody,

I would like to know which is the best way to import an Excel chart
into PowerPoint. I have tried:

-Copy and paste of the image and then convert it into a Microsoft
Office drawing object in order to remove the background (I want the
image to blend into my background). The problem is that I get a lot of
little graphical components in the image and it's difficult to modify
their colors in order to make them contrast with my PowerPoint
background.

-Import the Excel data directly into PowerPoint. The problem is that I
need to repeat all the steps I did in PowerPoint in order to adjust the
type of graphic, the labels in the axis, etc.

Any ideas about the best way of handling this?

Thanks in advance,

S.

Edit|Paste Special and choose Excel object. Or even just copy the chart in
Excel and paste in PPT. Then you can use the recolor option on the Picture
Toolbar to recolor to match your slides. See
http://www.echosvoice.com/charts.htm for specifics.
