I have been evaluating the top 4 programs on the market for this and they are
as follows.

Microsoft Digital Image Suite 2006
Adobe Photo Elements 3.0
ACD See 7
StudioLine Photo 2

Each have the good things and each has some weakness to them. Short of the
few bugs in Digital Image and a small list of shortcomings in the
application. The microsoft product is at the top of my list. I am hoping
that the shortcomings and bugs will be fixed in there next update. See my
other postings to find out about the bugges and shortcomings.....

I agree Fastone is very good and free for photo editing. For organization I
would go to picasa (www.picasa.com) also free and also a decent photo
editing software.
