BenQ DW1625

I have a BenQ DW1625 DVD RW which has stopped working. Worse yet, it
has a DVD inside it which
I need and won't eject. Ive tried both software eject and pressing the
eject button. How can I get this thing
open without destroying it? Gus

usually there is a tiny hole on the front of the player, this is a manual
way to open the bay. Just insert a straighten out paper clip.

Hello,

Open up your PC cover. Look at the back of the writer - there should be a
molex connector

It looks like this

Tighten that connection - it could have become loose.

Or you can do the other method and push a pin through the small hole.
