Been waiting 17 weeks for my "free upgrade"

17 weeks ago I posted my upgrade redemption form(s) to moduslink

Order was approved about 6 weeks ago but no copy of Vista has arrived as yet

Moduslink has a "toll free" number (for the US) but not for the rest of the
world - but even then that's no help

Anyone else been waiting nearly 1/3 of a year ??

Thanks Carey, but I have done this, and called them - receiving standard
automated replies from all emails and options based choices on calls - which
don't provide any assistance

Just wondering -

1. Am I alone with this experience ?
2. Are MS aware that ModusLink are letting them down ?

lol - yes, I get the impression Vista is still actually in Beta testing -
albeit a "live" beta test

Just out of curiosity, if you like Linux, why in the h*** do you
hang out in the Vista newgroup? Is Linux so boring you just

I've been waiting over 3 months and my order hasn't even been processed
yet. and last week I received an email saying that my order has been
cancelled at my requested.

MODUSLINK make me so angry. I have spent over ?60 on phone calls but it
still has not been sorted....

any suggestions?

Hi I have contacted the mstupvistana and i have gotten 4 differ delivery
dates the first came with a confrimation code that never existed and the
next 3 also had but they we not in the system when i got them on the phone
they told me to contact microsoft. and they are telling me to contact
mstupvistana!!!! help
going on 5 months now since i was promised it

Moduslink has closed their program, you will not get any further assistance
from them. If you have not received the offer and were properly registered
for it, then you need to contact your system manufacturer. Microsoft does
not support OEM offers and distributions.
