BCM disappeared

Hi y'all and happy holiday!

Awhile ago, the Business Contact Manager part of my Outlook (Office Pro
2007) disappeared from Outlook all together. I don't have the original disk
because the software came with my computer (Sony G2) and just have the box
for it (with product key et...)

Any suggestions on how to recover the BCM without ordering a recovery disk?

Thanks!

Is it still installed - is BCM in Control Panel's Add/Remove Programs?

It doesn't show separately to 2007 Microsoft Office Professional. When I go
into Programs & Features and try to make changes to 2007 MS Office Pro I
can't find any program addition or subtraction separate of Outlook. I believe
it resides somewhere in the installation files but isn't apparent. Thanks for
any further suggestions.

BCM disappeared from one of the machines that we use BCM with. It turned
out that the machine had crashed and as it did so, Outlook disabled the BCM
addin. Try looking in the menu "HELP" - Disabled Items...." to see if you
can turn it back on.

Found this thread today. I'm having trouble with the BCM component also. I
just tried what you suggested to Bruce. I was able to "enable" BCM, but even
after closing and reopening Outlook, I'm not seeing the BCM component in my
Outlook. This has been beyond frustrating. I'm running a 60-day trial and
it seems like the trial period will run out before I can even get BCM up and
running!

Thanks Tim. I did check that and there are no disabled items in that list. I
have another version of Office Pro 2007 but that's not what's on this
computer, this computer it came with and doesn't provide a back-up disk. I'm
thinking about just uninstalling the entire Office and re-installing from the
other disk set (which is installed on another computer in my home).
Frustrating. I didn't realize BCM is considered an add-in for Outlook.

Any further suggestions are greatly appreciated!

When BCM doesn't appear in Outlook, and you've already checked for
Outlook having disabled it, the next step is to try a new Mail profile
in Outlook. It's possible the current mail profile once had BCM and
dismissed it, so the profile is marked to run without Outlook.

Good thought though I don't use Outlook for e-mail. Just for the fun of it,
I did create a new mail profile but it didn't bring BCM back.
