BCM 07 Plugin for Adobe Acorbat?

J

Jeffrey Stewart

I've been using BCM 2007 for over a year now and we have been using Word
Docx and PDFs for our customer files. More so PDFs than Word Docs. In Word
and most of the Office 2007 programs, there is a plugin for the BCM where
you can link the file to an account or business contact.

Is there a plugin available that works with Adobe Acobat in the same manner?
Since we tend to use PDFs to word docs with a 80/20 ratio... it would be so
much easier to link our PDFs to customer accounts while in the PDF, in place
of navigating to the account/business contact and manually entering the FILE
link.

Googling hasn't helped me so I thought I'd approach the topic here. (I'm
going to copy this to the BCM.Developers forum too.)

Thanks,

Jeffrey

My understanding is that bcm add-in that shows up in Word and Excel is
a single DLL that BCM regsiters as available for Office applications.
If Adobe would support the Office add-in API, it could load the BCM
add-in too.

So I guess Adobe would have to support/do it? I was wondering if there was a
third-party plugin that someone was aware of. I found a plug in on
sourceforge but that was for email autolinking. Not want I wanted.
