Hello,
I'm using XP Pro and my power management seems to be strange. When I plug
it in it dims down and when I unplug it, it gets brighter and still say in
the systray thats its on ac. I've taken care of the brightness by adjusting
it. I was tryig to make the battery last longer and chatted with the
manufacturer (compaq) and they told me to unistall the acpi control driver
and let it reinstall. I did that and afterwards I get this issue. Basically I
cant tell how much battery I have left without going to the control panel.
Any info would be very apreciated.
