How do I create a barcode in Microsoft word?
What kind of barcode? There are dozens.
The only kind Word can make without a special font or third-party software is a
US Postal Service POSTNET barcode, which is now obsolete

use the Insert > Field dialog (in Word 2007, Insert > Quick Parts > Field) to
insert a BarCode field, which can contain the zip code itself or the name of a
bookmark that covers the zip code.
