how do i get rid of these stupid balloon windows that keep popping up in xp?

Hi,

The balloon tips can be reomved using Tweakui. Install Tweakui and go
to
Task and Start menu, then uncheck Enable balloon tips.
Or here's a script to Disable Balloon Tips
