Backup

I am trying to backup my System State files and I get a "failed" when trying to both my CD burner drive and A drive. I followed the instructions on article 308422 to step 13 and this is where it fails. What now? Thanks.

It says in that article that you must backup to a hard disk, then you
can burn the backed up file(s). Ie you can't backup directly to
removable media.

Thanks, John. Didn't see that part of the instructions. Seems rather stupid, tho, to backup from hard drive to hard drive in order to backup to disk or CD.........

Please see my other posting today under "Backup System State" to see if you can answer additional question in there. Thanks.
