When backing up a Windows 2000 server from a Windows 2000
workstation using windows backup I get the following error
message; The network disk drive has stopped responding.
Backup set aborted.

This only happens occasionally, can somebody tell me why
this is happening and how to fix it?

You should be backing up a Win2K server from the Win2K server preferably using a third
party program such as Veritas or Arcserve. This should be done from the POV of the server,
not a Win2K workstation.
