Backup utility

What name do I use when trying to backup files to my CD
on drive location D: Backup wants to go to the floppy
but allows for D:\ THen shows the backup file name to be
my backup but it reports that the file name is not
valid. What is the procedure?

Can't write to CDs. They're read only. Write your file to a disk and burn to CD if you want.
