Right now I'm using Bernt Levinsson's great Back It Up! There are only
two items on my wish list for it.
One is minor - the ability to select directories or files by mask, so
instead of selecting all the files in a directory (C:\TheDirectory) or
specific files by name (C:\TheDirectory\myfile.txt,
C:\TheDirectory\myfile2.txt, etc) I could select all of the files by
mask (C:\TheDirectory\*.txt)
The second is the ability to only backup files created after a certain
date. My data backup file has exceeded CD size and being able to limit
the regular backup to files created only within the past two years
would help.
Right now, I can simulate what I want to do by running a batch file
that runs xxcopy (which has the date limiting capability), runs a
compression utility to create the zip file from the xx copy, copy the
zip file to the CD, and then delete the xxcopy created folder.
Anyone know of a utility that will do all this?
